As a dentist working in university, I do believe that these book is a unique written about that issue.

An excellent book that deals with the most common afections of the oral tissues. The illustration of the cases are very ellocuent. I was looking for a book that had the epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of oral cancer and buying this book has been a good choice.

Actually, I would rate this book 2 1/2 stars because although this book purports to be a color atlas of oral cancers, in reality, only half the photos in this book are actually of cancers or precancers. The other half (every other page, in fact) are of histology slides of cancerous cells - something that is not clinically helpful, and would be of interest and useful only to a pathologist.

First, I want to thank all those who participated in putting together the much need information regarding Head and Neck Cancer. While I found the information great - I would like to have it simplified even more. I am 6 months post treatment and show no signs of cancer so I have some experience regarding the iformation in the book. I think there are something missing that need to be addressed.

This will be an excellect source for those diagnoised with H/N cancer but would be difficult to follow at first when you have soooo much thrown at you. Thank you SMW
