This book is a comprehensive and very useful reference written by experts in the treatment of elbow injuries. It has a very complete section on sports medicine injuries and is up to date regading new techniques. Despite the title, there are excellent discussions of nonoperative treatment and rehabilitation of the disorders covered. Excellent coverage of the anatomy and physical exam of the elbow. Great illustrations! The book would be of value to surgeons and medical students alike.

A classic book in Orthopedic(Fractures). discussing types of fractures, management, complications...etc. organized according to body part. some details in management including types of physiotherapy, manipulation .... . each chapter have an anatomic classification of fractures.

I would highly recommend this book for rookie insurance adjusters or rookie SIU's. This book provides a great platform for further investigation.

For the individual who aspires to learn more about fitness and physical activity this is the book. Overall I found this book helpful and informative, I do however question some the photographic illustrations with regard to proper kinesthetic form. I often found this book a great reference for research and presentations.

Describes how long-lasting and subtle a concussion can be. This book sheds light on a subject that stumped 4 medical doctors - they just gave up on my wife after she has been struggling with post-concussion syndrome for over two years. We have recommended it to our friends who have teenagers playing competitve sports and some of them have had concussoins.

Kirby Farrell narrates this book like a pop-culture icon, yet he remains objective enough to sustain credibility. Heavily influenced by the works of Ernest Becker, Farrell compares seemingly uncomaprable films and novels through a filter of humanities' fears of death and desires for immortality. Farrell makes several strong arguments, yet gets caught up in a bit too many tangents for the general going public. This book is for a scholar. I know this sounds elitest, but this novel is for those who are well read, well versed, and comfortable dealing with topics that will make them feel uncomfortable because of their validity. Farrell has succeeded in created a fine piece of work worthy of coffee tables around the world...that is if you take your coffee black.

The book has provided comprehensive information on
postoperative rehabilitation of the knee and shoulder.
But, we havent understood some of exercises exactly.
We would recommend this book for physiotherapists who
work on sports rehabilitation.

This is a good basic text that I will use to supplement the content information that I share with students.
