I love this book. It clearly outlines what a hospital is, what people who are caring for the patients do and why a person goes there. It is a clear explanation that will ease a child's concerns.

I have a progressive disease and because hospital policy in many places now denies children the opportunity to even visit family members unless that person is in the maternity ward, this book is very helpful in explaining what happens when I have to be in the hospital.

My daughter has benefitted deeply from reading it and has it with her whenever I have to go to the hospital so as I tell her what is happening, she can "see it" pictured in the book. This book has been a lifesaver for me. It's great!

I have this book and it is a very practical book for the orthopaedist that is working in every day practice, I have Moore's, Gianneastras', LeLievre's, and Viladot's master books, and I see this as a very open minded foot's surgical treatment text, and Dr. Kelikian does not avoid the conservative treatment, and he is very clinical and anatomical doctor, and this is he's perfect goal.

It is a excellent book, which describes all about I want toknow the most recents concepts in the Spine field, with the most remarkable authors and investigators.

This update was thoroughly revised again. The figures were redrawed again and the chapters are arranged in more accessible manner. The text is easier to read than the previous edition, but in some chapters you have to consult the previous edition. The authors had achieved their goals, but the new "nomenclature and classification of lumbar disc pathology" was not included -- Spine, 2001; 26: E93-113. A good buy and must buy!

This book was exactly what I was looking for to review for the NATABOC exam as well as to have for future reference. The layout is perfect as it goes step by step through each evaluation of the different areas of the body.
