Comprehensive guide to ART. Great if you are training or preparing for a test

I read this book in April 2004 and it is very informative and all you need to know in order to perform this procedure. 111 pages with lots of nice images and short clearly written chapters.

An interesting book form the first view, but not that much in depth and didn't offer solutions, the title is mainly a doctor oriented thesis about impotence. It's interesting to read if you want to know even more about impotence, things that are at a professional level .If a guide for overcoming impotence and other sexual diseases is what you are looking for, then consider this for a change: "Volume II - Natural Penis Enlargement: New methods of avoiding and curing impotence, premature ejaculation, and erectile dysfunction safely and inexpensively. ... There are certain words society considers taboo, 'impotence'
is one of them. It is still one of the most misunderstood health
conditions, partly because it carries a stigma, in the minds of
many that suggests failure. Ms. Marie puts emphasis on the
metamorphosis that can occur, due to stress, when a husband cannot
consummate the physical aspect of marriage. And after reading
IMPOTENCE: THE DARK SIDE, some questions about this condition will
be answered.

Ms. Marie uses this book to tell her story and share the emotional
turmoil couples experience when a man denies that his impotence is
real. As a result of her emotional roller coaster ride, her life took
a destructive path. She was consumed by 'the dark side': depression,
memory shut down, alcoholism and suicide attempts. After the emotional
dust settled, she started a crusade to educate those who have lost
themselves and feel trapped in a hopeless situation.

Using excerpts from medical journals along with personal interviews
she hopes to give credibility to why individuals react so negatively
to impotence. Statistically the numbers that equate to impotence are
overwhelming, it affects an estimated 30 million men. But what is
more astounding is the number of men who choose to placate this
situation and fail to seek help.

IMPOTENCE: THE DARK SIDE, is divided into sections which describe the
condition of impotence and impotence denial, common signs of
physical and emotional abuse, and gives resources where readers can
obtain help for themselves. With this information Ms. Marie hopes to
remove the associated stigma and increase the awareness of readers.
This is a bold step for a writer entering the literary arena.

This book is a good resource at a great price! The book has a lot of European research so it is sometimes hard to follow, but there is a great wealth of information regarding clinics across the globe in the back. A great asset to an infertility library.

Up to date information, well referenced; clinical data for both male and female infertility, tests, info on ART, and ethical issues are all described thoroughly. Only covers western medical techniques, provides no complementary medical information.

Psychological induced impotence could be related to relationship problems or some fears among man that could be disused with the partner. Also the psychological type of infertility is the easier one because it can be treated only with counseling without having any relation with physical problems. Talking to your partner or seeing a psychologist can e really helpful without the use of pills or surgical methods. Also you might like another book about this subject: [...] which provides tips in how to prevent and treat infertility.

A very good book that explains that problems dealing with the lack of erection, premature ejaculation and other sexual disorders is not always caused by psychological stress and outside factors, but might be a problem of the man, something that needs treatment urgently.
