This book is very helpful in avoiding those middle of the night calls to the pediatrician. We have used this book often when
our 3 year old is not feeling well or gets a boo boo. This book is well organized and it is easy to find the topic you are
looking for.

I loved this book and passed it on to my husband to read because even if your toddler is screaming in your ear and trying
to climb onto the dinning room table the storries are short and funny. The book has 365 pages with each page containing a
few paragrapsh with a helpful tip. It is one of the most practical and humerous parenting books i have ever read. Plus its
lay out makes it very easy to pick up read a page or 2 put down remove the cat from your toddler and pick it back up in a
few minutes.

I'm not one for reviews but this had to be said. This author is both witty and instightful. What a colorful and honest way
to describe raising a family! I was impressed with the descriptions and faith this author brings to the pages. I could feel
the cheerios bouncing off my face as I was reading!
I would recommend this to anyone who is either planning a family or has a few spilling juice in the house today.

Even though I have been around many babies I gained a lot from reading this book. It was great how my husband (who has zero
experience with babies) and I both learned things from the author's easy to read style of writing. I recommend getting a copy
of this book for yourself as well as one for anyone you know who is pregnant or who just had a baby because if you lend it
out you won't be getting it back!

This outstanding book for parents and caregivers of two year olds is the third in a series. It offers activities that promote
total child development, including physical, mental, and the creative aspects of learning. The organization into easily located
categories makes it easy to quickly locate an appropriate activity. As a grandparent-caregiver who used the books for Baby
and One-year olds, I am pleased to find that the activities are just as well thought-out and age appropriate in this book
as in the other two. The instructions are very clear and there are enough activities that even if only half of them were
tried you would never run out of interesting things to do.

If you are in early intervention and are not already familiar with ABI (Activity Based Intervention), this book is absolutely
necessary for you and your program. A mom and an interventionist, I have seen the best and worst of intervention approaches
-- the approach laid out here is logical, complete, and responds to potential problems. Any program can be adapted to include
activity based intervention, and anyone entering the field should be familiar with these pretexts. I highly recommend this
book.

Bobby Bear has just woke up from his long winters nap and is looking for Honey, but finds a bunch of friends first. Olly the

is beautifully illustrated. Do they find the honey that Bobby Bear is looking for? Buy the Book and find out!

This curriculum guide is excellent especially for first year special educators who are required to write family-friendly IFSP/IEP
goals. It lays out goals for children, the previous skills they have to acquire to meet those goals, skills that will come
next, concurrent skills, as well as how to set up your classroom to elicit the goals. WONDERFUL WONDERFUL! I would not recommend
the companion measurement however because it is VERY time-consuming.

I am a certified Alexander Technique teacher, and I specialize in prenatal care. This book is THE BEST. Ilana Machover has
taught birthing classes with an Alexander Technique focus in the UK for many years. The book is divided by stage of pregnancy
and stages of labor. There are detailed descriptions (and beautiful photos and drawings) of how to work with yourself in
each stage. Plus all kinds of great factual information about childbirth. It's easiest to learn Alexander Technique with
a teacher's assistance. This book is an excellent resource along the way. I recommend it to all my prenatal students.

The information in the book is great. The author has done all the research for you, pulling in quotes from many other sources so you get a wide variety of voices. There is everything from pointers about how to entertain your child while clipping his fingernails to advice around potty training, to suggestions for setting limits and reinforcing them.
All in all, a quick, fun and easy way to get information you need!
