We've had this book for several months now and everything we have tried has been successful. The flour mix works and there
are many unusual and really delicious cookie recipes. Cakes are pretty standard but the recipes are excellent. Overall,
one of our most used gluten free cookbooks.
LOVE IT!

I admit it... I have a cookbook addiction! And since our family has been gluten free, I have added quite the collection of
gluten free cookbooks to my shelves. And I use them ALL! Well, I now have a new favorite for gluten free desserts... CONNIE
SARROS' DESSERT COOKBOOK! EVERY recipe I've tried is fantastic! And if you can crave it, Connie has a recipe for it! I can't
say enough about it! I highly recommend it to ANYONE who wants to venture into gluten free baking, or just add new options
to the dessert menu. But warning: everyone will start asking you to bring the dessert... everytime!
Very tasty recipes.

This book has recipes that are very good and pretty easy to make. One thing that I really appreciated was that they all use
the same flour mixture, and the flour actually has nutritional value, as opposed to having 5 different flours throughout the
book that you have to make, or just using a mixture of corn starch and potato starch. If you need to cook gluten-free desserts,
I would highly recommend this book!

Focus on Homocysteine, a short book written by Christina Bolander-Gouaille, provides a clear and concise overview of homocysteine
metabolism and the pathophysiologic consequences of homocysteinemia. This timely and well-referenced book succeeds in translating
relatively complex biochemistry into easily understandable text supported by excellent diagrams. It provides a comprehensive
review of the factors that can influence homocysteine levels, intervention strategies, as well as important advice on sampling
procedures. Given the current emphasis on plasma homocysteine as an important biomarker and predictor of numerous chronic
disease states, this book will give clinicians and health practitioners a much needed resource for understanding the physiology
and pathophysiology of homocysteine metabolism.

I purchased this cookbook as a birthday gift for our 9 year old granddaugter who has Celiac's disease. After looking through
it I found it to be full of helpful recipes for kids which is often hard to come up with different things. She was excited
when she opened her gift set of her own baking set with the 2 cookbooks I ordered inside. I think she could hardly wait to
try them.

I thought this book would give quick easy Gluten free meals....I gave me quick meals that were typical junk foods (Kids foods)
that were Gluten free versions....thats not what I cook for my children. More pictures would have been nice too....Gluten
free foods often look different than regluar foods....I guess thats why pictures were excluded!!!!!!!!!

I was a little disappointed with this cookbook. I think most of the recipes are pretty generic as they call for all of the
'normal' ingredients of the recipes, but just add "gluten-free" to the title of the ingredient. It wouldn't take a genius
to take already used recipes and convert them to GF just by substituting the ing. I don't know exactly what I was expecting
but this wasn't it....

This book is a great first book for gluten-free initiates. I've been eating a gluten-free diet for about a year now--reading
tons of literature on the subject--so most of this book was a review for me. However, there were some gems about certain nutrients
that I may lack and creative ways to add them to my diet. The recipes were also helpful and quick to make, unlike many other
gluten-free recipe books where you have to have custom flour blends on hand to make anything.

Being new to gluten-free eating, I wanted a book focusing on good nutrition without gluten grains. This nutrition book on
gluten-free eating is just wonderful.
The author has a very pleasant, user-friendly way of writing. She gives great tips on the science of gluten free eating, plus her own opinions on the more controversial topics of gluten free eating such as oats, wheat protein, etc. She is very clear on science vs. opinion, which I appreciate very much, since there is so much misinformation out there on gluten free eating.
A very pleasant surprise were the recipes. They are absolutely scrumptious and include some very creative recipes for breads, pizzas, etc. In fact I am so impressed with the recipes I only hope the author's next venture is a gluten-free cookbook.
I highly recommend this book to those concerned with gluten free nutrition and eating. I only hope it gets the attention it deserves. Great book!

as the others. It's hard to believe these recipes are healthy let alone gluten free! I receive compliments on these recipes
all the time and my family prefers to eat gluten-free now! This book is easy-to-read, and provides many useful tips for cooks
of all skill ranges.

for specific age groups, which makes quick references easy. Review of scientific literature is good, and the authors included
certain limitations of the data.
