I have been on many diets over my life. I have always ended up gaining it back and more. Last year I had cancer and was lucky
enough to catch it early and have a great surgeon who wanted to help heal me and suggested Weight Watchers. I joined and I
am now one year later 25 lbs lighter and cancer free. But I am having a hard time losing anymore weight..I go up a lb down
an ounce...my body has put me into a starvation set point. I have been doing the points system with WW which basically controls
your calorie intake in a different format based on how much you weigh. It worked at first and then my body got hip to it and
shut down to a very slow crawl. When reading Brook's book I saw in his program something that I could definitely live with
for a lifetime. Something that I could continue to lose and attend WW meetings... which I feel is very important for me to
have that accountability in a positive setting. I am very excited and will be keeping the control chart that he describes
in the book. For those of you looking for a way not a diet...this may be for you. For those of you who like their olive oil,
pasta and wine...this is definitely for you...

By far, this is the best system to lose weight! As most women, I know you most be one who have struggled dieting, and maybe
know most popular diets down to a "t". I happened to me too, until I read this wonderful book, which changed my relationship
with food 100%. Now, I understand that in order not only to lose weight, but to permanently stay thin, you should have a good
relationship with most foods we tend to think will make you gain weight, such as sugar and carbohydrates. Mr. Bolio writes
this book in such a way you will be amazed by the results. It's a guide for life, and I assure you, based on my experience,
that this is indeed your go to option to maintain a healthy eating plan for life, without having to be afraid of, so to speak,
eating!

Last Journey Down is a moving, honest memoir of one woman's journey in life. Her loss of 87 pounds, and her success in keeping
them off, are tributes to her strength and determination. She is surely an extraordinary woman, and her story will be inspiring
to anyone who has set and hopes to achieve a difficult, demanding goal. Evans eloquently evokes the discouragement of failure
along with the joy of accomplishment. This author's integrity, compassion, intelligence and generosity are evident in her
fine writing. Hers is a wonderful success story, and her book will be extremely important to many who deal with obesity or
similar problems, and want to change.

This is for people on the go. If you're absolutely exhausted at the end of a busy day and literally "braindead"...then this
book is for you! It's mainstream cooking at its best...using 6 ingredients or less per recipe. Whether you are diagnosed with
diabetes, or just want to eat better by taking control of your carbohydrates and your health...and ALWAYS in a hurry, then
you'll love this book. My goal was to develop recipes that would not tax the brain or require a lot of energy to prepare,
but still provide great tasting meals. So I intentionally created and tested every recipe when I was tired...yes, really tired
to be sure that they WERE really simple, really fast, really economical, and really easy to clean up! You CAN have normal
food and still be in control of your health. Since these meals are for everyone, you'll be eating the same food as your family

I reccommend Laugh Your Fat Off for losing weight. I followed the hooks on page 10. I did the laugh chant daily before getting
into my Pizza Addiction. I would go to the bathroom before the meal and deliberately laugh for 11 seconds. I was able to dispell
all thought of carbo hydrates and chose correctly on my food plan. Also, I tattoed my right wrist with my desired weight.
As I reached with my right hand for the wrong foods I stopped myself while observing my desired weight on my right wrist.
I'm back to a size 4 and my boyfriend loves me this way! So if your interrested in loosing weight and having fun pick up this
book. Good luck, from Linel Ortiz. P.S. I wish you slimness.

I haven't even finished this book and I've already lost weight!
This book really changed my perception of overeating. It doesn't tell you how to diet, it just helps you understand why you overeat and it makes sooo much sense. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with their weight. I would really love to be able to get a hold of her book "Eating Less, Take Control of Overeating", which I think is the full version of this book.

I first saw this diet in a women's magazine. It is the easiest fastest way to lose weight I have ever seen. All foods are
listed with lifepoints (good) and risk points (bad). You simply pick the foods you like with the least risk points and the
most life points and enjoy! Keeping your "lifepoints" over 100 and your "risk points" under 100 per day. Eat the foods you
like as much as you like, never feel hungry or worry about counting calories. An example, apple juice has "0" risk points.
I love apple juice so I replaced my usual sodas with the juice, it really is that simple! The Lifepoints Diet helped me lose
35 pounds!
