I really like vinegar and wanted to find a book that would tell me a bit about its history as well as how to cook with it,
and I've been very pleased with this work. The author starts by defining vinegar and then discusses its discovery and uses
in various parts of the world. After a chapter on the various types of vinegars, there is a chapter on vinegar and health,
including old wives' tales as well as scientific research. Practical uses for vinegar are given, and many recipes. The book
concludes with information on resources -- vinegar museums, websites, and retail suppliers for vinegar or vinegar-making needs;
references; and an index.
I thought this was quite well done. I've learned a lot and have been happy with the recipes I've tried so far. Very nice.

This book delivers exactly what it says it does. This program is best for those that need to lose 15-20 pounds very quickly.
I dont recommend the diet portion for life, but the self-discipline exercises are perfect for life. This program can make
you lose up to 20 pounds in two weeks if followed exactly as it is prescribed. I highly recommend this book!!!!!

I find this book challenging to read because Jack brings so many ideas together on what effects good health. He has an unique
way of viewing the human system. I am reading this book for the third time. I am getting more out of it today than I did
when reading it in 1988. I wish that I had paid more attention to it the first time. I would be healthier today. What Jack
is trying do is get people to be more aware of how to care for their own health.

Annette gives many great tips on how to eat the things you want with out being on a diet. It made me sigh in relief to know
that one can loose weight and not have to count every morsel on your plate. She tells many little stories of her own weight
loss stuggles. I kept reading this book and saying to my self " Oh, that sounds like something I do" If you are interested
in loosing weight I definetly recommend this book.

Originally, the plan was to get this for a New Year's gift, but we liked them so much, we decided to get an early start. Here we are January 1st and we're still going strong.
This book gives you something to fill out daily, which I feel helps keep motivation and also keeps you on track. It's not like most of the "body building" journals out there, which is good and bad. Nothing about keeping track of how much you're lifting of how many pullups you are doing, but I do feel it's worth it because it helps keep you on task OUTSIDE of the gym.
Actually, that is one of the things I really like. You can make your own program with this and find out what works for you, rather than following what works for somebody else. Some people may want more structure, but I found the "free form" part of it to be an advantage.
Getting in shape is as much diet and lifestyle as time in the gym. If you're looking for a total body and lifestyle makeover, this book will help you do it.
I'm going to post some scans from the book, so you can see what you're getting. Again, I think the best part about this is that you can purchase the female version and have something which will help to motivate your wife/girlfriend.
