No other book is as complete as this one on the study of Echocardiography. If you like the esoteric findings in Echocardiography then you will love this book.

This is one of the best books I have encountered for adult echocardiography, and is the reference source in our echolab. I am eagerly awaiting its newer edition. The text is easy to read and is accompanied by thousands of excellent photographs.

Enjoy reading this book, has very useful info regarding how xrays are produced and what goes into making them. It also explains what factors go into making an image correctly as well as incorrectly. Great book if you are interested in this field.

Very good book. It has know how in radiology practice. As a Biomedical Engineer and many years in the radiologic field, I found this book very didatic for a guide to teach other professionals and for learning. In a simple manner all the important aspects are showed, except the production of X-rays and inside the machines.

This book could have been better. But considering how many books on CCDs are actually available - this book is too good to be true. It is fairly in-depth and deals with a broad array of topics. Processing (eg. doping levels etc) perspective should have been better.

Textbook of Radiology and Imaging encorporates all the aspects of diagnostic imaging starting from basics and going on to the intricacies of the subject. It has been very well written and includes almost all the common diagnostic problems that the studnt or the practising doctor is likely to come against. In summary, a thouroughly recommended title.

Hi, I just wanted to inform you that the 6th edition of the book was published in 1998.

Simply a must have, Dr. Webb has done a wonder job in addressing a difficult subject that seems to define the general radiologist, the ability to interpret a chest radiograph and CT. The text is easy to follow with key points reiterated in summary boxes through out the text. The selection of images and drawings is outstanding and puts meaning to the written text. Particularly strong is the chapter on interstitial lung disease, a topic that notoriously gives one fits. Quite simply, the entire pulmonary section is extremely well done. If I found a weakness, it would be the congenital heart disease section, personally, I think Dr. Lonergan at AFIP presents the material in a very resident friendly manner and the concepts are more easily gleaned and remembered. Skip Brandt and Helms which is picture poor and especially confusing on ILD; as well as, the baby Fraser and Pare, which espouses a number of confusing percentages and leaves you guessing like a poorly dictated radiology report listing everything but the kitchen sink in the differential and recommending clinical correlation, in fine radiology form.

If you are a medical student looking to get a jump on your radiology residency, a first-year radiology resident trying to make sense of different attendings calling something interstitial while another airspace disease, an upper-level resident trying to pull everything together before the boards or a clinician looking for a good introduction to chest radiology (whether it is to help you interpret films on your own or to better understand the CXR or CT reports), you simply can't go wrong with Thoracic Imaging.

Clearly written and concise. Dr. Prince is a great pioneer in the development of MRA. Book begins with a general discussion of contrast enhanced 3D MRA and then has specific chapters on different anatomic areas. Book covers the key issues in detail such as timing of contrast administration and ways to improve images such as elliptical centric filling of k-space etc.

To the best of my knowledge, this is the first book dedicated to this recently-introduced technology. Until now, multislice CT was a rather difficult field because even in the literature the studies are quite rare and often hard to understand for a physician. Multislice CT - a practical guide represents a great tool to understand the basics of multislice technology as well as all its major clinical applications. Very good job!

P.S. A gold medal to the last chapter which is about optimization of virtual colonoscopy in a phantom model.
