Diagnostic-Imaging Books

It touchs alot of advance technique about the nuclear medicine Technology and techniques. It does show squence and technical procedures whcih makes the reading much easier anf understandable.

I am a diag-rad resident. This was a recommendation from my program director, you cannot go wrong with this.

This is a european effort to cover the developing field of prenatal imaging and diagnosis. It is up to date, but covers topics in much the same way as its more thorough american counterparts (e.g. Fetology). It follows a systematic approach (not always problem-oriented) and has fairly limited fetal MRI coverage (not what one might expect from the title). Overall, it is a worthwhile purchase for the maternal-fetal medicine specialist who plans to practice in Europe and is looking for a concise version of prenatal diagnostic imaging.

This is a great text for teaching Radiology Residents because it sees the big picture very well. I would like to see some chapters updated :
a)C T to inlcude multislice and spiral CT.
b) fluoroscopy to include digital fluoroscopy
c) Mammography
d) PACS, teleradiology

Its about time somebody wrote a book like this. This book is great and has lots of good quality illustrations and examples. I'm not aware of alternative titles covering this area well. Hopefuly this will be useful to trainees in Radiology.

Useful as a reference for Licensed technicians safely taking and positioning radiographs of veterinary patients.

Very easy to read, very thorough (goes through the various loops - alpha loops, N loops, reverse alpha...) and definitely worth saving on your bookshelf.
A bit pricey, though - but think of it as an investment in the future!

This is a very good book because it can save you when you are in a hurry! The text is short and the pictures are very useful. It's a general book and talks about the mainly ankle and foot's problems and diseases. Thanks to the opportunity to have it!

This book holds the essentials for writing exams in Nuclear Medicine. Not only does it have questons on procedures but also an Instrumentation , Pharmacy, and radiation safety. I would recommend this book to any specialist in Nuclear Medicine Technology.

This text is easy to read and gives great information regarding the various radiological tests it discusses. However, I think it needs to cover more thoroughly the more common conditions that are diagnosed using radiology i.e. pneumonia. Otherwise, the text does a pretty good job of covering what it does.
