The Psoriasis and Eczema Solution Is A Waste of Your MoneyReview Date: 2000-04-27
Exorex is explained in the book to contain the essential fatty acids originally derived from bannana and the active ingredient 1% coal tar, and supposedly has a better skin penetrating formula and smell than regular coal tar.
Coal tar alone has been used for years for the treatment of these conditions, and some would question the safety of this type of use. I would question the safety of coal tar being more deeply absorbed by the body in this supposed new formulation. Also, 1% coal tar can be obtained in its own form a heck of a lot cheaper, and without the expense of buying this book that plays on the desperation of the poor folk who suffer from these conditions.
Finally, eczema and psoraisis, while both affecting the skin, are two completely separate and distinct conditions, and don't really seem to me to need to be discussed in one book.
For eczema, I would recommend a book by Dr. Atherton called, Eczema in Childhood - The Facts...good for children and adults alike.

decent book. Review Date: 2005-06-22
There are many people out there that, I think, would benifit from the information provided in this book. Namely children or teenagers living in a family where they are the only sufferers. It can be hard if no one around you knows whats going on with the condition. This book provides enough information to help educate the families and sufferers as to whats going on and good treatment alternatives. There are some interesting sections devoted to stress and diet and UVB that would be a great starting point for many afflicted recently or those looking for a good starting point for there children.

Anyone who reads my book will discover that there are skillful and reckless ways to use cancer salves, but dismissing something because of scarring seems a bit overzealous. Haven't you seen surgery scars.
I haven't read this article, but the headlines are just too sensational.

Nice try - but lacks depthReview Date: 2006-04-06
The text is, as far as I can see, a lot of print-outs from a spreadsheet, collected in overall categories and given a spiral back. Then sold at $150 !!!
The information is given in a list-format, with a keyword and the appropriate factors of relevance for a given section
For example: On page 8, section "chemical compounds", dynamite is listed, as an explosive, not a chemical warfare agent, and as a secondary explosive.
So far, so good - but the very same information is repeated in the next 13 lines in the very same table (?!?).
There are numerous examples of such duplicate information, which all in all becomes very tiresome.
The format is a good idea, sections with overall topics, "compounds" "pyrotechnics" and so on, and then a keyword based 'look it up' list of basic information.
So in the end two stars: One for the format, and one for the appendices.
