I think since by bringing this to your atttention, I thwarted unseccessful searches in the future and made future sales possible. How about a complimentary copy of this fine book for a poor Veterinary student? In return, I will submit a thorough review which will include my findings from a practical, clinical perspective.

I bought this atlas to better illustrate to patients different presentations of common skin conditions. Great pictures, good explanation and treatment options. Really some good work ups illustrated throughout this easily read text.

I wish I'd purchased this book when I was first diagnosed with SLE in 1991. This book shows specifically how the disease attacks each organ system, relevant research, and treatment. In essence, it can help the patient know when a sypmtom is serious (e.g., chest pain), and help them know the best questions to ask the rheumatologist to maximize their treatment.

This was a terrific book for helping a child with eczema. I found that pediatricians do not know enough, or have the time to explain how to make your child comfortable. This book offers many specific and implementable tips for helping your child.

I have bought this book thinking that it may be about acute emergergency cases of Dermatology and their management like Angioedema,Pemphigus Vulgaris,Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis,Drug reactions etc ,but it was covering most of the acute and chronic cases of dermatology and their management.
It is an interesting book,precise,too the point and with very clear and well taken skin photographs.It looks quite familiar to "COLOR ATLAS AND SYNOPSIS OF CLINICAL DERMATOLOGY"
I recommend this book to all the dermatologists!

This was a great book. I found this text very useful in managing the EB patients I have encountered in the past two years as a medical resident. The book was very comprehensive, detailed and relevant to the clinical management of patients with this complicated and serious disease.

This is an informative and inspirational book. It is about a rare genetic disorder called Epidermoysis Bullosa. This disease has (so far discovered) 16 different subtypes with about 3 or 4 of them being deadly in infancy. It is a rare finding to see such a book on such an extrememly rare disease. Dr. Shulman explains in clear language a classic Adlerian view of how an individual can divorce himself from reality and develop what is known as schizophrenia by training from the earliest years in avoiding a clash with the everyday tasks of life. He presents explicit procedures for change, using strategies and tactics developed by Rudolph Dreikurs and Alfred Adler for helping those human beings who have become enmeshed in the spiral of unreality. This should be required reading for every psychology student and every person who may have questions about how psychosis develops.

This is an great introduction for those of us who are familiar with only one skin type. The photographs and text are excellent, and they cover many of the normal variations and pathological conditions involving nails, hair, and skin. The book also explains many of the skin/hair care practices which are unique to non-white ethnic groups. The book mostly covers black skin, but there are a few sections on hispanic and asian skin. It also has a section on plastic surgery. I pretty much read the book cover-to-cover.
