It wasn't what I was expecting. I thought there would be exact case studies to read about and practice with, and there is not. It is just reading but it does open up your mind about how to think/ approch the situations, what little things you can ignore and what and how to read between the lines of some other things. **It opens your thought process but theres no specific studies to go off of (only the beginning of a situation**

Although i very much admire the work and pioneering spirit that Dr. Liechtenstein is conquering new frontires, i must admit that book is not that well, written.
Dont get me wrong: the topic is super-hot, very useful, but the book not exceptionaly clear or paedagogic. Maybe an USA-minded CO-author would help to present, the very important concepts presented in this book, more clearly.
All in all, still very desired book, and I feel happy to have bought it!

Medical students may find this text useful for basic overview of clinical examination, however you'll really need its bigger book equivalent to get all the information.

Donna Kincheloe is a Christian and a nurse, and as the title suggests those themes are the essence of the book. The book is a little thin for the price, but what is here is very good.

It is loaded with scripture and comments about how those words apply to our everyday lives. It started off a little slow for me, I was really wanting to hear stories from the nursing perspective, but the introduction focused more on her background and upbringing.

The nursing anecdotes are the best part of this book, I really enjoyed those stories. I would have rated the book higher had there been more of them. I think there are tons of books laden with scripture and comments about them, what makes this book unique is how Donna has applied those in her nursing career, and how she has seen God in action in those situations. That is why I think it would have been better had this been more of a fifty-fifty mix between anecdotes and scripture.

I still enjoyed the book, it is a quick and inspirational read.

A simple and compliant book. It's easy to read and is useful in the daily clinical practice. Also the editorial habit is clear. The chapters also are well listed.

This book offers the opportuinity to learn the basic management of mechanical ventilators.Is great for the "amateurs" in this field

the book informative and up dated , but very small hand writting and difficult to read comfortabley , so either make larger size the letters or increase the number of papers .

If your new to the world of EKG's this book will most likely frustrate you. It might be OK for someone who is experienced in this field and is just using it as review. However, I tried to tackle this subject for the first time through this text and it didn't help me at all. "Rapid Interpretation of EKG's," by Dale Dubin is a much better text for the beginner. My nursing instructor called Dubin's book, "The Bible of EKG text." Dubins book has all the same information and is well written, easy to understand, and provides color photos. This book might be OK for someone brushing up on EKG's. I don't hate this book, but I definately don't like it either.

Fits in my pocket and has some info, but nothing this compact can have everything. Not as much on differential diagnosis, but it gives me a place to start. As with most of medicine, you end up reading more in other books anyway.
