As we enter an era of diminishing need for textbooks, this book stands out as essential reading to help carers provide outstanding care to cancer sufferers. This textbook provides excellent evidence based medicine as well as new and innovative approaches to the cancer patient.

I found this book to be an invaluable assest and reference text. As a resident needing a thorough reference at home for this text will be a welcome addition to my library (and the first place I head to late at night). It systematically breaks down each chapter into clear, clinically important areas so you can easily find what you need.

I checked this book out of a local library when I was somewhere between 10 and 13 years old; when I found it online, I had to have it. It arrived in quickly and in great condition--I love it.

It is a perfect book on airway management. It is comprehensive, systematic and detailed. The photos are excellent. The perfect first book to have on airway management.

I got this book during my nuclear cardiology fellowhip and I found it to be an excellent resource to explain some harder to understand concepts.

As with other books in the series it works as a concise text and a great review book.

I bought this as a nursing student, 5 years ago, and never wrote a review for it. I love this product. In nursing school we are taught what different lung and heart sounds should sound like. However, reading what something sounds like and actually hearing it make all the difference. This CD breaks down different sounds nursing students and nurses should be familiar with. It's a good refresher for a nurse who hasn't had a patient with rales or hasn't heard a gallop in a while. I'd recommend this to nursing instructors, students, and nurses.

I got this book as a review and to renew my license, but ended up being quite immersed in the complete and easy learning way it was written. Even with new methods and drugs, nursing is still hands on, and this book was very, very informative. I am so happy I chose a course which required reading this book.

Most test review books put me to sleep, because I learn best by actively answering questions. So, I really liked this book which has 200 review questions covering all areas of internal medicine. Good for interns preparing for step 3 or med students on a sub-internship. I particularly liked that it fit in the pocket of my white coat for easy transport so I could browse the questions when I had few minutes on call.

A new title; a new format for the book and the individual chapters; and lower price, all intended to make the book more readily and easily accessible to the physician, dietitians, nurses, and other professional that provide care to burned patient.
