This book was written for the student as well as the seasoned practitioner and contains specific examples of forms, charts, and suggestions for improving the efficiency of patient record-keeping which will expedite and improve office procedures and help to limit liability.
The author has limited his private practice to contact lens work for over 34 years. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and has taught contact lens fitting and pathology in Europe for the past 23 years. He is presently a vice president of the Societie d' Europe d'Optometrie and serves on the visiting staff of The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He also serves as a consultant to attorneys in both the defense and prosecution of contact lens cases.
