One of the best Bach Flower; books, precise and concise.

Rudolph Ballantine, M.D., in his new book, Radical Healing (an outstanding work) states is well: "... this well-worn volume is still my favorite reference for the English essences. It accurately reflects the 'generic' nature of the Bach remedies, whose scope seems to be broader than the many more specific remedies now available." Personally, I love Chancellor's work and feel my health library is not complete without it. Chancellor uses language precisely and describes each remedy in concise detail.

Mr. Nongard's "Inductions and Deepeners" communicates the practical applications of these techniques of hypnotherapy through demonstrations in his transcribed sessions, and he succinctly explains many of the subtleties inherent in the field. As a practicing hypnotherapist with a psychotherapy background, I immediately put Mr. Nongard's book to use in helping clients get better, sooner. This book over the past several months has become a companion guide to my practice.

Inner Journeys
Helpful Votes: 3 out of 3 total.
Review Date: 2007-12-21
I've been looking for a resource just like this one. I have an ever growing collection of books about meditation. Some are formally presented and strictly adhere to a particular religious or dogmatic affiliation. Others, like Inner Journeys, are more fluid and easier to tailor to particular needs or situations as required.

Inner Journeys is one of the better books in this later category that I've come across. The author has included three sections of meditations: metaphysical, magical, and mystical. Each section contains about 20 different self-guided meditations. The majority of these exercises include visualization aspects. The entries themselves are extremely rich in detail which only adds to the effect. Often just reading through these meditations, I found myself transported to another place and experience.

I'm very pleased with Inner Journeys. With so many different mediations to choose from, it is easy to find the visualization that I might require on any given day. Furthermore, I found myself becoming more open and creative with my regular mediations.

Having discovered my prostate cancer only this month, I was comforted and informed by INSIDE THE MIRACLE. I too had begun to suspect this cancer as one of the deepest lessons of my life...one I had to be careful to not misinterpret. I agree with Mark Nepo that it must be allowed to wash through us. He does and marvelous job of bringing home the life-long truths of living close...My wife and I were brought closer and made able to share deeper this experience. Thanks to him and his wife Anne and to the fine music that heals as well.

"Intentional Healing Consciousness And Connections For health And Well-Being" by scientist and transpersonal psychologist Jeanne Achterberg is a six-CD program of instruction that teachers the listener how to focus thoughts in the form of 'positive thinking' as a dynamic element in a process of personal healing and recovery from both physical and emotional trauma and illness. spiritual nourishment
Helpful Votes: 5 out of 6 total.
Review Date: 2002-01-07
This book is a breath of fresh air for anyone interested in spirituality and health. The authors give you encouragement and wisdom for your dietary path. The main idea is - eat lots of fresh, unprocessed food. Pretty sound advice for anyone, but they then go into lovely detail about the spirtual properties of various foods. Eat well, be kind to your body, and the weight of the SAD (the standard american diet) will come off naturally.
