Excellent! 10 out 10! The true story of Sailor Moon! If you're into Manga and Anime, I would recommend this manga 100%. Sailor moon is full or Romance, Adventure, Drama and More. If you like sailor moon you might also like Revolutionary girl Utena another Manga written by Naoko Takeuchi.

I am so sad that Sailor moon products are out of print. This is an amazing story. I love the Manga and the Anime. 200 episodes wasnt enough!

This book was exitind and full of adventure. It was a greaat way for Naoko to start the new series.

This is probably my favorite part of the manga. The Solar Eclipse of the century has occurred, and with it came the Dead Moon Circus. A mysterious pegasus, new powers, new weapons, new enemies, new info about the Silver Millenium, new characters... Worth every penny. There are only two bad things about this book: It's over too fast, and you have to wait for _days_ that seem like _years_ for the next book. But don't take that the wrong way! It _is_ a good book! The only thing in the whole series I don't really get is Zircon, the snail lady's(Zirconia, the Soul Hermit) little eyeball with wings. But, hey, who cares?! You've got romance, action, some comedy, myths, magic, and extra short stories. Naoko Takeuchi, as far as I know, is the woman who created the timeless magical girl series. I may be biased, but if you haven't read this, and say it's too much like every other magical girl story, let me tell you this-the other people probably copied off of this story...

This is a wonderful volume. Bunny/Darien, Usagi/Mamoru, Serena/Darien are my favorite couple. I loved both the Japanese and English versions. The Japanese version is my favorite and the English version is great. I use both the Japanese names, Usagi and Mamoru and the English names Bunny and Darien. In this volume, Bunny is entering a new school life and so is Darien. Bunny and Darien are boyfriend and girlfriend. Bunny is very excited. Bunny plans to watch the solar eclipse with her boyfriend Darien and the others. As they are watching the eclipse, they notice something new. Their future daughter is going to be sent back to the future, but she wants to stay another day. Bunny asks Darien if she can stay over at his home. Darien tells Bunny he's not sure if they should do that. Bunny calls her mom and stays the night with Darien and their future daughter. When Bunny and Darien wake up after a dream, they soon notice something is different. When Bunny discovers that she's switched bodies, she comes back to the hospital. Darien notices what happened. Meanwhile, Darien is noticing a change. When he goes to the doctor, he finds out they found a shadow in his lungs. When Bunny visits him in her switched body, she stays the night with Darien. Darien tells Bunny he's sorry about burdening her. Bunny tells him that her dream is to be close to him, and Bunny kisses Darien. Darien cuddles Bunny in his arms. As new things are discovered, new things are found out and new paths await them all.

The most useful part of this book is the multitude of quotes supplied for every character, theme, and episode. The book is also peppered with interesting sidebars containing trivia, the show's famously funny stage directions, and Buffyverse info only noticeable through multiple watchings. Yet the character descriptions, intro to Buffy mythology, bios, and other text-heavy parts of the book are deadened by a juvenile style of writing that lacks color yet overdoses on complimentary language. If you are considering buying this book, you probably already know how great "Buffy" is and how clever Whedon is, and don't need to be convinced. The general gushiness, which is tempered and balanced by serious character and plot review in other books, is dull when supported only by lengthy, boring recaps. My suggestion: buy it used, because it's not worth the list price or Amazon's price.

Very informative, and a lot of fun.

Along with brief episode descriptions and information there is a whole lot more fun stuff to be found in this look at the first couple of seasons of the tv show.

Informations on the various quips and references made by the characters, and also some quotable quotes will come in handy for fans, no doubt about it.

Plenty of other bits and pieces following the characters and their relationships.

The watcher guides are great. But The Big Book Of Buffy Bites 2008 contains things even they missed. For Buffy collectors the Watchers Guides are must have and great reads. But for the avid fanatical BtVS fan who wants it all I highly recommend The Big Book Of Buffy Bites 2008. This book is up to date (2008 and season 8 info), and contains everything you could possibly want to know about Buffy the Vampire Slayer...and more. One feature I have not seen in any other book, is a detailed time line of all the slayers...from the First Slayer...all the way to Buffy. This was a pleasant surprise.

This isnt the best book if you're looking for a behind the scenes one. But it is great when it comes to quotes. Behind the Scenes is more in the 2nd volume.

This has an excellent array of quotes from seasons 1 and 2(which is what this book covers). It also has pretty good episode reviews, with some deleted scenes usually showing up along with some unknown facts.

But it also has some information that I found boring, which included a tour of Sunnydale.

But on the whole, not to bad of a book.

I like the books by Kenneth Topping a lot more than the official guides. They are more fun, more informative, and because they aren't "official" can be fans more than authors maintaining an official relationship with the show. But having said that, this and its companion volume are both really informative. And although I knew all the quotes anyway, it was a lot of fun reading them all. The best part of the book is the interviews with people you normally don't hear as much about, like set designers and associate producers and such.

My wife bought this book to read to our foster children. It has turned out to be our favorite book of all time for our kids! The words and meaning are so touching and true, very heartfelt. And the drawings are the most precious and endearing. They are just as great as the storyline. The most precious book for the most precious children! Every child should have one!

I bought this book several years ago when Daniel Pinkwater reviewed it on Public Radio. It perfectly describes a relationship between parent and child, where the parent is the stable rock the child craves, the child the ingenuous spirit the adult has lost.

I don't see it as being limited to adults and children. I have many of the same feelings about some of my adult friends.

I do agree with the reviewer who suggested this is basically an adult book -- I don't think most children will understand what it's about.

The "professional" reviewer who found it overly sentimental seems to have little understanding of human relationships. This book expresses a significant aspect of them in a way I have not seen elsewhere.

This book really warms your heart. Perfect for anyone - parents and children. I give it to all of my friends who had a baby or are having a baby... It made me cry after my daughter was born because the book is so touching, yet so simple. It is one my 18 month old daughters favorite books. ENJOY!

LOVE THIS BOOK! It's a great kid-friendly story about the relationship between a parent and child. The pictures are wonderful also. Gave it as a baby shower gift to a good friend but will absolutely get another copy when I have my own children!

This book is heart moving and precious because it is so real. I can't read it without tears in my eyes.

Wonderful rhyming book with terrific pictures. Perfect in a block book for very young children. One woman I gave it to said it is her child's big favorite.

Our family LOVES the rhyming in this story! So cute! We find ourselves counting, "one berry, two berry, pick me a blueberry..." at random times! This is a fun one to read to kids and allows you to really ham it up and be really animated and silly. The pictures are very elaborate and detailed and fun to look at. The kind where you notice something there a second time that you never noticed there before. This is certainly becoming one of our all-time favorite children's books!

wonderful book . My daughter loves the rhyming words and the wonderful colorful illustrations. I would definitely recommend this book.

Just a delightful book. I remember reading this during library time when I was little, so I had fond memories of reading the playful words and looking at the fanciful illustrations. You'll enjoy the book if you like fun rhyming that doesn't necessarily use "perfect" words but creates an enjoyable experience for your child anyway. Although another reviewer gave this book one star because it wasn't "educational" enough due to its use of playful words, some books are just meant to be read and enjoyed without teaching a lesson. It's okay to let kids be kids and to foster their imagination!

Now I'm an adult with a toddler. I found "Jamberry" at our local library and checked it out to read to my daughter who was 12 months old at the time. She kept saying "again" whenever we'd finish it. Whenever we check it out at the library, she wants to read it everyday, multiple times, at least 3 times in a row. Although this may annoy me slightly (especially after the 15th time reading it in one day), I'm thrilled she's so excited about a book and am proud to help foster her love for reading at an early age.

As an aside, we haven't checked "Jamberry" out at the library in at least 2 months and tonight I said "One berry, two berry, pick me a blueberry" and our daughter wanted to read the book. We tried explaining to her that "Jamberry" was still at the library and she got pretty upset that the book wasn't here to read for the twenty-millionth time. Never making that mistake again! No quoting "Jamberry" unless you have the real thing to back it up. That's why I've gone ahead and put it on my daughter's wish list.

This was one of my daughter's favorites, and it's one I didn't mind reading again and again. It has a fun rhythm and innovative text, and is not repetitive or "moralizing" like many kids' books. It's not meant to teach a lesson, just fun-- and really, don't we all need that sometimes?

Readers describe this story as "a circle of life" and yet there are no fathers present.

Not the best message for children.

This is a great book, it's a book that you can read over and over.

I read this book for the first time to my 4 year old son and 2 year old daughter. By the time I was through I was in tears! It is so touching and true. A Mother's love is truly a gift, and this book portrayed it completely.

I purchased the "bargain book" version of this book for $6.79. I hoped to give it to a pregnant friend. Amazon does disclose that the book may have a sticker on the back stating that it is a bargain book, which I didn't mind (although it is not the kind of sticker that just peels off). Unfortunately I could not gift the book as it is defective; printed unside-down and backwards. The book as about 7" x 7" and about 1/3" thick, including the cover. Actually seems over-priced for a small book that's defective. I did give it 2 starts as it is a sweet story. I somewhat agree with the other reviewer, though, as it is sad at the end, in a bitter-sweet sort-of-way.

I picked this book up when browsing a book fair at the elementary school where I work, and began to sob. I told the librarian there should be a warning label on the darn thing. While it is beautifully written and illustrated, I did not enjoy being confronted with the reality of my aging mother's mortality, and the fact that someday I will be no more than a memory in the hearts of my own children, an image in a photo frame in their homes. This should not be marketed as a children's book.

It was a really good book.My favorite part was when she finally becomes friends with the indians.Although recommend it to older kids becuase of the violence.

Standing in the Light was an excellent book. Caty and her brother Thomas are kidnapped by the Lenape on their way home from school. At first Caty feels they'll be killed but instead they return to the Lenape village where she and her brother are separated and giving to two new families. This was the first time I'd ever heard of the Lenape and the author painted a vivid picture of what these Native Americans were like. I loved the transformation as Caty goes from fearing her captives, to loving them especially one in particular Snow Hunter.

I absolutly loved this book. It made my stomach have butterflies. It feels like you are actually in the book. It was interesting and sad. I almost cried for some parts. LOL I would recomend this book to any kid who loves excitement, and history.

I love reading books in diary form and the "Dear America" series of books for younger readers are not only beautifully bound, but each individual story is truly engaging, transporting readers into a bygone era with its entailing adventures.

The heroines are typically young girls who find themselves in extraordinary circumstances - and having to display immense courage in trying times. "Standing in the Light" is the diary of Catharine Carey Logan, a Quaker who lived in the Delaware Valley in Pennsylvania c 1763. Her diary is an account of her experiences growing up in the valley and also about her capture by the Lenape Indians. It is a sad yet very engrossing read.

Another highlight of the book is the author's historical note on life in America during the time [1763] - there are also illustrations and drawings of Quakers and Lenape Indians engaged in their respective pursuits, and highlights the cultural differences between the two groups. In conclusion - an engaging historical read!

I remember actually crying during this book. Cassie is such a sensitive soul and this revealed the question of morality over the Yeerk war. It may run as cheesy to some people, but I applaud the series for going in such a direction.

Wow! Iloved this Book! I think everyone was impressed because usually the Cassie books stink. This book is a turning point in the Animorph series. Cassie learns that she can't escape the war, but when she has to return, it will be even harder to fight . .

This is a book that my mother read to me as a child and, later, as I learned to read, would read to her. Now, 30 years later, I am reading this to my daughter and sharing one of my childhood favorites with her. Some of the ideas are a little dated, Miss Suzy is a stay-at-home squirrel who enjoys cooking and cleaning, but it also a tale of kindness and respect.

My Mom read this to me when I was a little boy and it was my favorite book. Now, thirty-some years later, I was delighted to find it in a box. It's the same copy, which sadly, the cover had been ripped off somewhere, with "Property of Tony" scrawled proudly in pencil on the first page. It brought a tear to my eye remembering sitting in my Dad's recliner in the living room and having my Mom read Miss Suzy to me. I don't have any children myself, but I ordered two copies for friends with small children, and would recommend this book to anyone in a second. I think I'll order a new copy for myself just so I have a new one but my old copy, I will cherish forever.

My mom gave away our books when we were teens and I've been restoring the collection bit by bit as an adult. I found Miss Suzy a few years ago in an antique store and bought it, but now that it's back in print I'll be able to give it away to friends.

My favorite part was the big spider Miss Suzy scares away and the soldiers helping her get her house back.

This was my absolute favorite book when I was a little girl. I discovered it in first grade at my school's library. I just loved the tall oak tree where Ms. Suzy had her little house. My parents purchased a copy for me to have at home. Everything about this book stuck with me into adulthood. Many, many years later I just had to get it for my little girl, I know that she loves it too. I was so happy to see that it is still in print and children are still enjoying this adorable story.

When I was growing up I owned very few books thankfully I went to the library often but out of the few books I did own this was one of them! I finally introduced it to my own little girl and its as timeless today as it was 25 yrs ago. Any reader is sure to fall in love with sweet little Miss Suzy she has a heart of gold!

I LOVED this book as an upper elementary student after I lost my father very suddenly in an accident. I'm sure over the years I read this at least 10-20 times. I'm so glad to see it is still around so I can add it to my collection for my own children.

I read this book for the first time when I was probably 14. I read the book and remember crying through parts and laughing through others. I am so happy to have a chance to read it again. What an amazing story.

i read this book when i was 14 i'm 21 now and i was just looking for something to pass the time and i forgot how much i loved it!!!!

I would give this book five stars. It is one of the best books I've ever read and I could not put it down. The story was captivating and it made you feel like you were another character watching this story unfold. You are so in touch with the characters emotions that certian points in the book don't really hit you until you see how she is hit by it. Over all this is my favorite book and I think everyone needs to read it.

Oh my goodness! I can not believe the reviews I have read about this book! I bought it at a book fair when I was 10, back in the mid-eighties. I have tried for years to remember the title, as I wanted so desperately to get a copy for my daughter! The one I had also disappeared! I have never forgotten about this book and can't wait to have it again! This is a must read for anyone who loves fantasy with a great dash of romance! Amazon.com is so great!!

Although I'll turn 50 this year, I read this little book again today - my original Scholastic version from the 1960s - and fell in love again with the characters. I'm a softy, true, but it made me cry. I came to the Internet hoping Marian Cockrell had written another children's book, perhaps (I dearly hoped) a sequel. Maybe I'll buy the expanded version instead.

This treasure of a book is perfect for your grade-schooler who loves fairies, princesses, or magic. It's also perfect for the wide-eyed adult who's still a child at heart and loves those things as well.

I read this book as a child and searched for years for a copy to give my daughter. It is a wonderful fairy tale, with very good moral values. Share this with your kids!

First loved this story 53 years ago and have been looking for it ever since. So glad that it was reprinted. I enjoyed the expanded, but the first one was not and loved it anyway.

i'm thrilled that this book is back in print..my sister and i have fought over our copy for years...our kids have loved it also...they need to write more books like this
