An informational guide for anyone with children in sports

An amazing book for anyone interested in sports. Written by someone who has dealt with children's sports injuries extensively, the book provides detailed information on who should play sports, when, and how. Anyone with children should read this book, as it gives comprehensive information on not only sports, but overall health fitness. A unique book that discusses the side of sports sometimes ignored, from how a coach runs the team, to stress, and Psychological problems, and all the way through nutrition, and sports for the handicapped child. An easy to read, and understand book that all people (especially coaches) should take the time to read.

What a lesson!

I first read this book to my twins today ~~ I know they're still young but I want to start reading books that has lessons in it. This one should be a classic!

Mr. Toad wakes up after a long winter nap. He goes walking to find a wife. Only on the way to the pond, he comes onto a road and almost gets smashed by an oncoming car. Why? Because he didn't stop, look and listen!

This book teaches children how to cross the road safely so they won't get run over by drivers who may not be able to see them. Basically, it teaches you to stop before you cross the road, look left and look right and look left again to make sure there is no car coming and you listen for the car too. Then when all is clear, then it's safe to cross the street.

This book is illustrated beautifully ~~ even I like it. The story is cute and importantly, it is entertaining even if it is a lesson book!

This Book Is Wonderful

As a parent of a sexually abused child, I found this book greatly informative. I wish every parent could read this book, so that what happened to my child would never have to happen again. I also appreciated the section on laws, and how we, as parents, can get involved. I've read a lot of books on this subject, and this one is by far the best.

Kyoshi (his Japanese rank/title in Ninpo) Randy Weekley has written a great book that is easy to read and follow. What I really like about it though, is that it is kid friendly with plenty of pictures and a large type face so young readers can easily read it on their own.
Kyoshi Randy is a well spoken and a charismatic speaker and teacher. I would encourage everyone to attend one of his many classes or lectures.

Very Objective

This is an excellent and objective depiction of an issue oftentimes fraught with emotion. It accurately presents both the activist perspectives on the negative claims made on the use of genetic engineering and then presents the opposing viewpoint and scientific studies to refute those claims. As an educator, I strongly recommend this book for use in school classrooms and libraries for this very fact. We should be teaching our children to examine the issues and facts to make their own decisions. That is exactly what this book facilitates.

If you are interested in helping children learn to protect themselves . . . .

Although written as a manual for teachers, this is the most important book around for anyone interested in helping children learn to protect themselves from predators. Used in the school systems in Australia and New Zealand, it should be the basic text for teachers, social service agencies, and anyone in the U.S. that wants real information and real techniques that actually work. Most of the other books on the market on this subject are either based on this book, or arrived at the same conclusions without the background that the author has.

A helpful book for kids & parents

This guide was written to help kids in tornados, hurricanes, and other dangerous situations. These tips are good when a disaster strikes. If you follow these tips, you will be fine. It is a big book, so you will need to take your time reading it. It is a good book to read.

I like this book because it helps you. I learned that kids should scream "fire" instead of "help" if someone is trying to kidnap them, because kids usually yell help when they are playing and adults will not know that they are really in trouble. I recommend "Terrorists, Tornados, and Tsunamis" to kids because it will help them to be safe. It is also good for parents. It will teach them what their kids should do if they are in trouble.
